Made a presentation for a new public artwork for the city of Lone Tree, CO – a piece called Photosynthesis. It would be 18 feet tall and 12 feet wide. Motion detectors triggered by viewers control the lighting of the piece while optical illusions dance across its surface. Here are a few of the slides from my presentation.
Concrete floor being poured for the new studio!
A few interactive exhibits to teach viewers about the phases and orbit of the moon to get them ready for the 2017 Eclipse
Lots of new display cases being installed at the Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame and Museum in CO Springs!
Ebb and Flow is a public art proposal for 2 roundabouts that communicate color values back and forth using radio waves
More Dino stuff: A dig pit for the World of Wonder Children’s Museum
Tree was installed in Greeley, CO recently. It is right in front of a Chinese restaurant – which I find amusing since as I was building the piece I kept thinking that the branches look like crab cheese wontons….
Building dinosaurs in the driveway. Here is some of the frame for a parasaurolophus. This guy is 24 ft long and when it rears back to “bugle” 18 feet tall.
Upgraded exhibits at the FT. Morgan Museum to make them interactive and responsive. Including automating an old windmill to run when the visitors trip a motion detector.
2 new sculptures on display locally Light Waves in Aurora and Moiré Torch in Lone Tree
